Why do you think Sydney Craft Week is important/what drives you to be part of the Festival?
At Reverse Garbage we work with many crafters and makers everyday – it’s only natural we get involved as well inspiring others to the possibilities of reuse in their making.
How does your event respond to the Festival theme ‘material intelligence’?
When anyone walks into Reverse Garbage they immediately respond to what we have at hand – we may not have what you originally wanted, crafters need to respond to the materials we have on hand and be guided by them.
What can people expect from your event?
To look at materials in a creative way – expect to be inspired by using materials headed for landfill – creating sustainable craft.
